Visit Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm

Situated on Bidston Hill on the Wirral, the Tam O'Shanter historic cottage and free urban farm is run by a charitable trust with the aim of providing an enjoyable and educational experience for kids and adults alike.

Open every day except Christmas Day and free entry!

Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm and entry is free, though donations and at the farm are very welcome!

For your information due to lack of staff the Farm will be closed to visitors on the following days:

  • Tuesday 3rd February
  • Monday 9th February
  • Tuesday 10th February
  • Get close and learn about the farm animals

    Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm is home to a variety of farm animals, including pigs, sheep, goats, chickens and geese. It's a great opportunity for children of all ages to meet and learn about farm animals up close.

    Dogs are allowed on the farm but please keep them on a lead and avoid the play areas.
