Today the farm is more popular than ever, and is visited by hundreds of people each week. Local schools visit the farm to educate the children about the animals and to give them 'hands on' experience whilst volunteers aged 12 and above help with tasks around the farm.

In fair weather or foul, 365 days of the year, the Farm is open! When the weather's bad, and there aren't so many visitors, the animals - and the staff! - appreciate seeing your friendly faces!

The farm is part funded by Wirral Borough Council and the rest of the money comes from grants. There's a donation box in the farmyard, proceeds from which help with the animals' upkeep. Please be generous.

As well as a thatched cottage we also have a new 'green' building which incorporates many environmentally friendly building methods
