If you’re thinking of giving back to the local community through your corporate volunteering or CSR programme, or looking for a different type of team building event, the farm is perfect with ongoing projects always looking for groups of volunteers and various rooms and spaces to run group exercises.
Our activity barn is the perfect space for your child’s party. Hire prices include tables/chairs and we can also provide age appropriate farm-based activities, a visit to see the hens, or other requests considered by arrangement.
You can provide your own food, or you can ask at the farm café for on site catering to suit your needs.
The farm has always been incredibly popular with local schools and we continue to enjoy a close relationship with schools from Wirral and further afield. If you wish to plan and book a school visit please contact us. We can arrange for a farm tour, booklets for younger children, worksheets for older children and other requests can be considered by arrangement. We do ask for a donation to the farm for each school visit to cover the costs incurred.
We have two rooms on site available to hire all year round. Rates are competitive and various catering options are available in partnership with our on-site café.
We have the space to cater for all types of events and moods/themes. Currently, our room in the EcoBuilding is awaiting refurbishment but The Barn is ready for use.
The activity barn is perfect for children’s parties, community groups, small craft events and activities and training. It can easily hold 30 people for lectures, training etc and can be laid out to suit your occasion.
Flexible lighting means we can provide full white light on the darkest days and soft mood lighting for evenings and events that call for something a little more subtle
The opportunities are endless. So far we have hosted training, first aid courses, children’s parties, yoga and keep fit classes, Halloween parties, Santa’s grotto, a Midsummer solstice event and a cosy evening event with a full hot dinner provided by our on-site café.
If you have an event in mind – give us a call, come and have a look, and let’s see if we can meet your needs.
Our eco-building is a unique environmentally sustainable structure with great lighting and heating. We can provide tea and coffee making facilities for your meetings and lectures and it provides excellent space for school parties wanting somewhere to eat lunch on a wet day.
It is a versatile space and has recently hosted a Christmas fair and a moody and silent holistic healing event. Came and take a look.
The space is due to be upgraded and enhanced in the Autumn of 2020 so some facilities will be unavailable during the refurbishment – watch this space for a new look later in the year.
We believe that social responsibility starts at an early age and we hope soon to restart the farm tots programme which will welcome carers and pre-school children for informed and facilitated farm walks. There will be a small charge for this but all little people and their parents/carers will be offered refreshments suited to the weather and time of year.
We aim to create a full programme for Young Farmers
